TERRARIUM MAKING
Single session workshop that is therapeutic and relaxing, covering the basics of making a closed terrarium and how to care for it. Beneficiaries can expect to bring home their very own unique terrariums!
BALLOON SCULPTING
Multi-session balloon-sculpting workshops culminating in a capstone project of your choice (e.g., decorations for events at your charity), or single session workshops to expose beneficiaries to this fun and engaging art!​
BEAR BRICK ACRYLIC POUR
Single session workshop where beneficiaries design bear bricks with their favourite colours using different tools, and use the bear bricks to decorate their homes or as a gift for their loved ones!
SLIME MAKING
Single session workshop where participants learn to create their own colourful and stretchy slime. Experiment with textures, colors, and add-ins to make a fun, personalized creation to take home!
Case Study:
Allkin Impact Program
Social isolation among seniors is a pressing concern in Singapore, with many struggling to find meaningful social interaction. In response, Group AID partnered with Allkin AAC to bring joy and foster new friendships among seniors, through creative balloon-sculpting sessions held between April and May 2024.
The program benefited 19 seniors, with an average score of 4.9/5 given by participants for the sessions’ ability to foster new friendships and strengthen existing ones¹. Additionally, 90% of seniors continued practicing balloon sculpting outside the program, further fostering community connection¹.
